Brake Press Operators Day and Afternoon shift Available
Our client, a world class manufacturer in the Stratford area, is currently recruiting for a Brake Press Operator for their day and afternoon shift. The Brake Press Operator will be responsible for set up and to operate the brake to bend, notch, punch, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal to blueprint or sketch specifications, to support production

Location Details: Stratford, Ontario
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a metal fabrication environment
- Experience working with an overhead crane
- Experience working with heavy gauge steel
Responsibilities:
- Perform set-ups and die changes when required by job.
- Work with steel , sheet metal to heavy plate.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to produce various configurations.
- Measures and verifies dimensions of work piece.
- Interpret precise measuring instruments, and measure parts for proper specification.
- Checks product for correct shape, dimension and other specifications.
- Perform quality inspection for all parts and components produced by ensuring correct sizes, flatness, and tolerances for the Customer.
