Millwright – Afternoon Shift

Our client, a world class manufacturer, is currently seeking a Millwright for their Vaughan facility (Afternoon Shift).

Work Setting: On Site

Shift Schedule: Afternoon. May be required to work overtime or adjust hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities
•     Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
•     Perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment
•     Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to maintain equipment performance
•     Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in a fast paced manufacturing environment
•     Weld and fabricate components as required
•     Support production demands by assisting where needed and working overtime when necessary

Minimum Requirements
•     Certificate from a college or technical school plus a minimum of five years of related experience
•     Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
•     Solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical processes
•     Proven problem solving skills with the ability to handle a variety of mechanical/maintenance challenges
•     Welding and fabrication experience
•     Willingness to work overtime and assist in other areas as required
