Manufacturing Engineer

Our world class client in Brampton, needs to hire a Manufacturing Engineer. What is important for them is that the person has experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer while being directly employed with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company and you have extensive experience creating PFMEA’s FMEA and work instructions.

Work Setting: On Site

Shift Schedule: Days

Location Details: Brampton

Responsibilities:

Lead continuous improvement projects to ensure that the machinery produces quality parts while maintaining productivity levels

Make improvements to OEE

Implement Corrective Actions

Work on ergonomic programs

Make improvements to the plant layout to utilize floor space effectively and ensure that the operators work in a safe manner

Assist in APQP process

Ensure projects meets their timelines and stay within budget

Qualifications:

2 years of work experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company

A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering

Extensive experience creating FMEA, PFMEA and work instructions

Experience reading AutoCad Drawings

Experience leading Continuous Improvement programs for automotive machinery
