PLC Programmer – Day Shift

Our client in Newmarket needs to hire a PLC Programmer for a straight day shift. What they are looking for is someone who has experience troubleshooting/programming AB, Siemens or Omron PLC’s for assembly or weld robots

Work Setting: On Site

Shift Schedule: Days (6am – 2pm)

Location Details: On site

Responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement projects as it pertains to PLC’s
• Program, commission and test AB, Siemens or Omron PLC’s
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Assist operators, when needed
• Work with production supervisors to improve process

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electro mechanical Engineering. A skilled trade license will be considered as well.
• Experience troubleshooting and/or programming AB, Omron or Siemens PLC’s for assembly or weld robots.
• Working knowledge of HMI’s
