Advanced Quality Engineer

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Richmond Hill who needs to hire an Advanced Quality Engineer. To be considered, you would need previous work experience as an Advanced Quality Engineer with a tier 1 automotive manufacturer and have extensive experience working on new programs for the various automotive OEM’s. Minimum Requirements

• A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience as an Advanced Quality Engineer while being employed with a tier 1 automotive manufacturing company
• Preference for someone who has their CQE
• Work experience with GD&T, 8D, DOE
• Work experience with PPAP’s and PPAP revisions
• Working experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001

Responsibilities

• Attend program review meetings including PFMEA development
• Prepares and presents technical program information to the Quality Manager
• Creates documentation for customer PPAP submission
• Coordinate APQP submission activities
• Troubleshooting quality concerns during launch phase
• Create and train control plans
• Generate statistical reports and data analysis during launch phase
