Diesel Mechanic

HCR Permanent Search is working with a well-established transportation and fleet services organization. They are searching for Licensed 310T and 310S Mechanics to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles while supporting safe and reliable fleet operations.

Work Setting: Onsite

Location: Ontario

Work Type: Permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 310T Truck and Coach Technician License, 310S Automotive Service Technician License, or registered Apprentice.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License.
• Previous vehicle repair and maintenance experience.
• Must possess the tools required to perform the job.

Required Skills

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Ability to complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Gas or diesel vehicle repair experience.
• School bus or fleet maintenance experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance, brake inspections, and safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on company vehicles.
• Respond to service calls and breakdown situations as required.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
