Director of Business Development

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to join highly technically focused metal manufacturing company in Ontario.

With over 10 years of experience driving business growth and leading sales teams, the Director will play a pivotal role in executing strategic sales initiatives. Responsibilities include overseeing all business development functions, identifying new market opportunities.  You will be leading a small sales team to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and equipment manufacturing, with a proven track record of success in the metal industry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Strong background in an engineering oriented sales position, ideally with a degree in engineering.
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Track record of coaching and building a highly effective sales strategy and team
• Background in steel fabrication processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage sales growth and strategic sales planning.
• Coach and mentor a team of highly technical sales people
• Deepen relationships with existing client base while developing new business
• Be a strong ambassador for our company and partners.
