Electrician – Day Shift or Afternoon Shift

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Toronto who needs to hire an Electrician for a straight day as well as a straight afternoon shift. To be considered, you would need to be a licensed electrician (442A or 309A) in the province of Ontario and have experience repairing stamping presses or robotic weld cells.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Electrician License. It can be a 442A or 309A
• At least three years of experience as an Electrician while being employed for a manufacturing company
• Able to troubleshoot stamping presses or robotic weld cells

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and maintains plant equipment. This could include hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.
• Repairs and replace electric and electronic components
• Runs new power supply lines to new and relocated equipment according to Ontario Hydro Codes
• Wires new control panels according to drawings
• Use a computer to troubleshoot AB PLC’s
• Follow lock out/tag our procedures. Must use a ram block when repairing or cleaning a stamping press
