Mechanical Engineer

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a leading edge manufacturer in Cambridge area who needs to hire a Mechanical Engineer.

Minimum Requirements

• Engineering degree. P.Eng preferred.
• Experience in mechanical design of metal products, materials properties and selection, stress analysis.
• Experience managing technical projects from concept to production.
• Strong AutoCAD & SolidWorks expertise.
• Experience with manufacturing processes including hot work, stamping, machining, heat treatment and finishing.
• Experience in  cost estimates for manufactured products.

Responsibilities

• To manage new product mechanical design and re-engineering of existing products for improved cost and performance.
• To perform engineering analysis, calculations and detail design of new and existing products.
