HCR Permanent Search is working with a leading automotive manufacturer in Vaughan, Ontario. They are searching for a Licensed Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and building systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Setting: Onsite

Location: Vaughan, ON

Work Type: Permanent

Compensation: $43-$45/hour

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Licensed Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Required Skills

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical and electronic system issues.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.

Preferred Skills

  • Automotive manufacturing experience.
  • Experience mentoring apprentices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and building equipment.
  • Install new equipment and modify existing machinery.
  • Complete preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist apprentices as needed.
