Process Engineer – Laser Welding Experience

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Toronto who needs to hire a Process Engineer. What is critical for them is that they need someone who has been been employed as a Process Engineer where they oversaw laser welding lines. This role is 100% on site.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A degree or diploma in Mechanical or Industrial  Engineering,
• 3 years of work experience with an automotive manufacturing company
• At least 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer where you oversaw laser welding lines
• Working knowledge of process improvement techniques

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide expertise as it pertains to laser welding. This could include commissioning of new equipment
• Make improvements to laser welding lines
• Identify bottlenecks and make the necessary changes to rectify it
• Conduct root cause analysis to defects from laser welding lines
• Ensure products from the laser welding meet client standards
