Press Operator

Our client in Vaughan is looking for an experienced Stamping Press Operator to join their team. The starting pay rate is between $21-$25/hr. They also have a good benefits programs and is a place where you can grow your career.

This role is 100% on site

Job Requirements

•    Minimum Grade 12 education
•    Previous experience operating large scale manufacturing equipment
•    Strong command of the English language (verbal and written)
•    Sound knowledge of statistical techniques to identify process improvements opportunities
•    Ability to use basic and advanced measuring equipment

Job Duties

•    Operating production equipment and produce parts to outlined requirements by using the tools provided (quality and quantity)
•    Perform die setup / press change over according to schedule
•    Complete all production and quality documentation on time and as per requirement
•    Ensure that the machine has a valid first off prior to start of operation
•    Perform part inspection by using equipment outlined in the inspection and record results as per the outlined requirements
•    Pack product according to the packaging instructions
•    Produce parts to close tolerances, specifications, on time to ensure high productivity and part quality
•    Must be able to lift tooling up to 20 kg to setup machines
