Production Supervisor Kitchener Waterloo Area Day Shift

Our client is a successful metal fabrication company with a long history of providing quality metal fabricated products are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor in the Kitchener Waterloo area.

The Production Supervisor primary function is to ensure safety, productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals are met or exceeded across all plant production operations to achieve company objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 7-10 years of background experience is a production environment, and asset.
• 5-7 years’ experience supervising people an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and business acumen.
• Broad manufacturing experience, preferably in a metal fabrication environment
• Good knowledge of production processes, measurement & inspection procedures, production planning and control, budget process, MS Office and Visual
• Ability to supervise and manage a diverse workforce.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The objective of the Production Supervisor position is to lead those employees directly reporting to them as well as dotted line in the production area(s).
• Ensuring  work areas are provided the necessary resources, materials, information, and services from support areas.
• Maintain production area to operate efficiently, and effectively improving safety, productivity, quality, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Standardization, where necessary, is ensured in a consistent and sustainable manner.
