Project Supervisor
Our client is an engineering-focused solution provider of machined castings, fabrications, and assemblies supporting numerous industries and they are currently recruiting for a Project Supervisor for their Stratford Plant
The Project Supervisor is responsible for managing the planning, execution, and successful completion of engineering projects. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and project management skills. It is crucial for ensuring that complex engineering projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet the necessary quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Offers technical leadership to guide cross-functional engineering teams in developing and releasing all necessary engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with the product development process and/or customer expectations.
- Ensures the creation and maintenance of engineering timing plans, defect/issue lists, risk assessments, and lessons learned.
- Leads a team tasked with designing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, or facilities.
- Ensures operational excellence through efficient plant design.
- Drives continuous improvement in processes, cost efficiency, quality, and production.
- Oversees all engineering projects and addresses engineering challenges.
- Possesses extensive knowledge of various concepts, practices, and procedures in the fabrication field.
Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- In depth knowledge of process improvement tools, product design techniques, mechanical drawing standards and GD&T
- Prior experience with metal cutting, forming, welding (manual and robotic) and machining.
- Knowledge of Lean techniques
- Ability to travel if required.
