Quality Supervisor

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Newmarket who needs to hire a Quality Supervisor. To be considered, you would need experience as a Quality Supervisor or as a Quality Manager with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive stamping or welding manufacturer

Minimum Requirements

• College Diploma or a University Degree
• CQE Designation
• Experience as a Quality Supervisor or as a Quality Manager while being employed with a Canadian tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturer that has stamping/welding processes
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects
• Experience performing root cause analysis

Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous improvement by using KPI’s and gathering data
• Leads the quality team and is hands-on with resolving and preventing quality issues
• Trains and mentors the quality staff
• Develops relationship with customers and also addresses their issues as they arise
• Maintaining the IATF16949 Quality Management System
• Manage the PPAP process and ensure that submissions are delivered on time and within the accepted requirements
