Position Summary

HCR Personnel Solutions Inc., a leader in the Industrial Temporary Staffing industry, has an immediate opening for a Staffing and Recruitment Consultant to work in our Milton office.   • Monday-Friday; 8:30am-5pm
  • Salary dependent on experience and qualifications

 

Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and in-person inquiries to ensure prompt and complete customer service
  • Enter complete and accurate data and statistical information into spreadsheets and internal databases
  • Preparation of documents, forms, and communications
  • Complete all general administrative duties

 

Recruitment Responsibilities

  • Screen online applicants, pre-qualify candidates, and schedule appointments
  • Document details of candidate interviews into internal database system
  • Facilitate pre-employment onboarding sessions
  • Publish job postings and marketing materials
  • Network through online recruiting resources, employment centers, training schools, and attend job fairs as required
  • Complete preliminary screening and evaluation of potential candidates
  • Interview prospective employees for suitability with client requirements
  • Document details of interviews and evaluate candidates’ qualifications and suitability for employment

 

Staffing Consultant Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary information to employees to ensure they have all pertinent job information prior to the start of assignments
  • Track employee work-related activities and status to ensure reliability
  • Build client and employee rapport using empathy
  • Provide field employees with constructive feedback based on client information
  • Resolve employee and client problems such as absenteeism, dissatisfied employees, employee failure to report for work, and payroll queries
  • Confirm job orders with clients and follow up to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Manage employee schedules based on client requirements
  • Assist with payroll processing and time card entry

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent (post-secondary education preferred)
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a staffing or other service organization
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Great multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Excellent client orientation and customer service skills
  • Must be able to work well with little supervision
  • Independent thinker with proven initiative
  • Staffing or human resource experience is an asset
  • Previous customer service experience is a must
