Tool and Die Apprentice (1st or 2nd Year) – Day Shift

HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in Markham who needs to hire a 1st or 2nd year Tool and Die Apprentice for a straight day shift (7am – 3pm). My client needs someone who can work 4 days a week and go to school on the 5th day (which is paid for). This role is 100% on site

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Enrolled in a College Apprenticeship programs as a 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice
• Experience with SPC and Blueprint Reading

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists Tool & Die makers in building and maintaining tools & dies
• Provides tooling process feedback
• Ensures that there is a good inventory of spare parts
• Works in a safe manner
