Welder / Fitter

Our client in Aurora needs to hire 2 welders. What is important for them is that the person has experience welding pipes.

Work Setting: On Site
Shift Schedule: M – Th (6am – 5pm)

Responsibilities:

• Complete weld preparation by grinding or cutting
• Ensure accuracy of drawings and layouts to drive operational efficiency and avoid the need to complete re-works
• Cut and fit steel by means of bandsaws and grinders
• Ensure pipes are fitted according to drawings and field measurements

Qualifications:

• Experience with Mig, Tig or Arc Welding
• Solid understanding of welding symbols
• Knowledge of cutting and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read blueprints
