Process Improvement Engineer

Our world class client in Vaughan needs to hire a Process Improvement Engineer. Their ideal candidate has been employed in a CI Focused role while being employed with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company.

Work Setting: On Site

Shift Schedule: Days

Location Details: Vaughan, ON

Responsibilities:

• Lead Continuous Improvement projects on new and existing equipment
• Lead Kaizen Events
• Conduct takt time studies and line balancing
• Work on VSM’s
• Issue RFQ’s to vendors
• Perform daily gemba walks

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in mechanical, industrial or mechatronic engineering
• Previous experience in a CI focused role while being directly employed with a tier 1 or tier 2 automotive manufacturing company
• Experience working in an IATF 16949 certified facility
