Position Summary:

As a Production Labourer in an automotive manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for assembling components, operating machinery, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.

 

Shift Schedule:

Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm $20.06/hr + 4% Vacation Pay
Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm $20.56/hr + 4% Vacation Pay
Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am $21.06/hr + 4% Vacation Pay

 

Location Details:

Limited access to public transportation within St Thomas

 

Qualifications:

-Using a forklift, tugger or reach truck to load, unload and move products and materials
– Pick orders, stocking, packing and unpacking goods
– Stocking, packing and unpacking goods
– Transporting and distributing material
– Ability to work in a fast paced environment
– Valid forklift license from a forklift training center (counterbalance, raymond reach, narrow aisle, tugger, etc)
– Ability to handle heavy loads with good manual dexterity, attention to detail and hand eye co-ordination)

-Manufacturing and/or Forklift experience is an asset
-Ability to stand for 8 hours, with repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 50lbs)
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Completed high school diploma (or equivalency)
-Clear criminal background
